A new floor is poured to complete the Foundation Repair

Pilings are Bolted to the Floor Joists
Moist natural soil coupled with the freezing and flawing of occasionally hard winters cause this type of foundation failure. Back-filling with the proper gravel coupled with interior braces will cure the problem.
Interior basement wall pilings distribute the pressure of outside forces to the basement floor, footings and building above.

Structural Steel Braces Placed in Large Footing Excavations
Basement Wall Braces work very well for restoring basement wall stability. The restored wall is able to withstand normal natural forces provided exterior and interior drain tiles and the proper gravel backfilling are used. If a wall with horizontal cracks shows no displacement it is often possible to attach the Basement Wall Braces to the existing floor. If there is serious displacement of the wall we prefer to sink the wall braces in large concrete footings.
Horizontal Cracks in Basement Walls
This condition is usually the result of a poor job of backfilling during construction of the home and will probably require excavation if wall displacement exceeds 1”. If the cracks are wet then the exterior drain tiles are probably clogged as well. A lasting fix usually requires exterior and interior excavation, interior braces called pilings and a good sump pump system.
If neglected they can cause deterioration of the wall leading to these expensive conditions that follow. The really serious cracks are those that reveal failure of the foundation.
Hairline cracks that follow the mortar joints of a concrete block basement wall are generally harmless. If there is water leaking onto the basement floor during or after a rain they should be inspected and repaired
In general, horizontal cracks in a concrete block basement wall indicate excessive external pressure that is causing the wall to implode.

New Drain Tile and Waterproof Coating

If the wall has bulged more than 1" excavation is generally required.
